 abbi Erin Polansky!\nAs we gather to renew our spiritual lives and commu
 nity connection in this season of joy and reflection\, it is with great pl
 easure that we welcome Rabbi Erin Polansky to KBI as new clergy. This is 
 truly a transformative moment for KBI\, and it is too much to pack into a 
 single welcoming event. Instead\, we are launching a series of community e
 vents\, including more intimate gatherings where you can mingle with Rabbi
  Polansky in neighbourhood sukkot during Chol HaMoed. Space is limited to
  20 people at each location of our "sukkah hop\," and these open house-s
 tyle events are free for members. Choose one that will work for you and re
 serve today using the links below.\n\nSunday\, October 20: 2:30-4:00 pm in
  Centrepointe. (click to register)\n\nMonday\, October 21: 7:00-8:30 pm i
 n Barrhaven. (click to register)\n\nTuesday\, October 22: 7:00-8:30 pm in
  Kanata. (click to register)\n\nOn November 23-24\, we look forward to 
 Installation Weekend\, when Rabbi Polansky will be welcomed from the bimah
  into her leadership role. Shabbat morning services with Rabbi Polansky's 
 special d'var Torah will be followed by a delicious community-sponsored ki
 ddush. This crowdfunded welcome meal will be a great opportunity to come t
 ogether and celebrate as a community. That evening\, KBI will host a wine\
 , cheese\, and dessert havdallah reception\, where we can continue the fes
 tivities. On Sunday\, KBI will host the installation lunch\, where Rabbi P
 olansky's distinguished guest\, her teacher and mentor Rabbi Herbert Basse
 r\, will have welcoming remarks on the joyous occasion of Rabbi Polansky's
  KBI rabbinate. Times and sign-up links will be available shortly.\n\nLook
 ing ahead at the months to come\, KBI members can look forward to coffee c
 hats\, youth programming\, and learning opportunities with Rabbi Polansky.
  These opportunities will roll out gradually with specific announcements a
 nd enough notice for you to plan your calendar. We sincerely hope you will
